The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, the windows sound proofed (especially important because you're so close to the airport). Breakfast started at 6:30 am and thanks to it being a buffet we were able to get in and out in time for our 7:00 am pick up for a tour. Great way to try a variety of local dishes and still have familiar foods as a back up. And the buffet breakfast at The Market (the main dining venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus cocktails on Sundays when the Maya bar is closed) was excellent! And it offered a variety of Guatemalan foods on the buffet. Great location - 10 minutes from the airport, and considering the absolutely horrible traffic in Guatemala City we were truly grateful to be so close. If you are a light sleeper, request a corner room, ending with “01” or “24”.They have a surcharge, but are better located. One can hear people in the corridor and other doors opening/closing. The location of the hotel is excellent right next to “Fontbella mall”, a huge FEDEX office, about 3 minutes walk, where there are about 10 high end restaurants and Starbucks.ĥ.Ĝomplimentary water bottles provided in the room.Ħ.Ĝomplimentary early check in provided. Had 2 meals, both meals were excellent.Ĥ. The hotel has a nice in-house restaurant. Very nice room, good internet, good bed, good water pressure, hot water.ģ.
